Rose Tapestry
4’ x 5’ mixed media weaving from the Skeleton’s Dance Series 2022. The Rose Tapestry was made after visiting The Berkeley Rose Garden to write a fantasy origin story. The story itself was written by deconstructing two stories- one old and one new- and combining them into a surrealist dream. The Rose Tapestry was made using a similar method of deconstructing old paintings and weaving them with new materials and paintings.
